Prunus persica
(patio peach tree)

A peach tree like this dwarf selection is perfect for small spaces, courtyards and patios.  Its gorgeous, abundant, fragrant, pollinator-attracting blossoms put on an annual spring show and are followed by dark, attractive foliage and usually a pretty decent crop of peaches, although the tree is  generally regarded as an ornamental.

Peaches are typically small, and it is advised that one consults with a local Cooperative Extension Service for best practice in spraying to prevent pests.

These trees are tough and thrive in versatile conditions, but the flowers/potential fruit yield will not tolerate extreme cold or late, heavy frosts.  Plant in sunny location and watch it grow with minimal fuss.

Price includes shipping and handling within the Continental USA.

US $39.00 per 12-inch to 24-inch potted tree

PLANT GUARANTEE

FloraBrava.com is a small, backyard venture.  I take pride in my plants and strive to offer excellent quality for good value.  As a garden writer, award-winning exhibitor, hybridist, accredited daffodil judge and plant society president/board member, I have a reputation to uphold.  If you have a problem with a plant, tell me and let me resolve the matter with a replacement.  If you are unsure if a plant might perform well for you in your locale, reach out to me via email at florabrava@outlook.com, and I will do my very best to advise.

SHIPPING POLICY

FloraBrava.com does not ship to Alaska, Arizona, California or Hawai'i.

Prices listed include shipping and handling within the Continental USA.  Most orders, except where prohibited by embargo or other exception, can be shipped internationally.  That said, prices listed do not include phytosanitary certificates or other associated fees and additonal shipping charges for international locales.  International orders must be requested by email and customers will be invoiced for the plants and additional charges.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

FloraBrava.com, as required by law in order to ship, ensures that all potted specimens have received a drench of Bifenthrin (imported fire ant treatment) within 180 days prior to shipping. Otherwise, chemical fertilizers and pesticides are generally avoided.

Annual inspection is conducted by Clemson University Extension, and each order receives a copy of the most current nursery tag, verifying no issues with fire ants and guava root knot nematodes.

Inspired by my late friend, Mrs. Pauline Ciaffoni Myers (1926-2011) of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, USA (see article in this issue of Greg Freeman's Garden Chronicle), who spent years promoting butterflies, provided butterflies for a television commercial, PBS' Sesame Street and the box office smash hit, Silence of the Lambs (1991) and sold "caterpillar" kits using recycled plastic fruit containers, most of my plants are grown in recycled plastic drink bottles, pint-sized produce containers and plastic fast food cups. I could buy nursery pots and charge extra, but why not use something at least once more that is bound to wind up in the trash anyway?  I aim to produce healthy, quality plants in the most efficient, practical way.  The proof is in the product.
